Hello Bergen covers travel updates for Korea, Omicron mutation information, the new Toys R Us Flagship store, Broadway Week 2022, 28th Annual Mathematics/Science Contest, holiday discounts, & Santa Saturday!
First, reporter MinJung Hong tells us about the latest on travel restrictions for Korea. She lets us know that overseas travelers may be subjected to a mandatory 10-day self quarantine upon arrival.
Next, we will discuss the latest information on the Omicron mutation. Minjung says that there has been a confirmed case in New Jersey. Due to this, Governor Murphy reiterates how important getting the vaccine and booster shots are during this rise.
On a lighter note, Toys R Us is making a come back! A flagship will be opening soon in the American Dream Mall in East Rutherford, NJ. Find it on the second floor and then take their slide back down to the first floor!
Finally, NYC’s famous Broadway Week is returning in January 2022! Purchase 2 tickets for the price of one from January 18th to Feb 13th. Be on the lookout for the lineup announcement on January 11th. Act fast because tickets sell out quickly!
In other news, the 28th annual Mathematics & Science Contest by the Korean American Association of Scientists and Engineers was held at St. John’s University. Certificates and prizes were given to a total of 81 winners! Congratulations to all award recipients.
