Hello Bergen News 11.11.21

Hello Bergen News 11.11.21 will cover: newest vaccine updates, parent teacher conferences, NJ’s plastic straw ban, exciting news about the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and the Bronx botanical garden’s holiday train show.

First, reporter MinJung Hong tells us that there’s a new vaccine update. Before, kids had to be 12+ to get the vaccine. Now, kids 5-11 are eligible for the Pfizer vaccine.

Next, we will discuss the importance of being involved in education. Not only are conferences good for the child, but also the parents’ involvement is equally important.

In addition, we will highlight New Jersey’s new ban on plastic straws. If customers want a straw, they must request it. As a matter of fact, the establishment can be fined if they give out straws without a request.

Of course, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is coming up and we are very excited! This year K-Pop group, Aespa, will perform in the parade!

The Bronx Botanical garden reopens for its annual holiday train show!
